Ecce, Deus

Surely it is God Who saveth; we will trust and never fear. For the Lord is our firm stronghold; He each desperate cry doth hear. Draw ye water with rejoicing from salvation’s deepest springs; “Praise the Lord! Declare His doings!” in that day ye all shall sing. Give Him thanks and call upon Him, for He hath done wondrous things; make Him known among the nations; let your joy from all heights ring: cry, inhabitants of Zion; shout aloud, for in your midst is the Holy One of Israel, Him by Whom all things exist! Glory be to God the Father, Glory be to God the Son, Glory be to God the Spirit, everblessed Three in One! As it was in the beginning, is now, and as e’er shall be, let us offer highest praises age to age eternally!

Behold, God is my salvation; *
  I will trust, and not be afraid:

for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; *
  he also is become my salvation.

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water *
  out of the wells of salvation.

And in that day shall ye say, *
  Praise the Lord, call upon his name,

declare his doings among the people, *
  make mention that his name is exalted.

Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: *
  this is known in all the earth.

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: *
  for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Surely, it is God who saves me; *
  I will trust in him and not be afraid.

For the Lord is my stronghold and my sure defense, *
  and he will be my Savior.

Therefore you shall draw water with rejoicing *
  from the springs of salvation.

And on that day you shall say, *
  Give thanks to the Lord and call upon his Name;

Make his deeds known among the peoples; *
  see that they remember that his Name is exalted.

Sing the praises of the Lord, for he has done great things, *
  and this is known in all the world.

Cry aloud, inhabitants of Zion, ring out your joy, *
  for the great one in the midst of you is the Holy One of Israel.
