The Nativity of Our Lord, commonly called Christmas-Day.
1 |
Almighty God, we worship Thee, Who unto us hast giv’n, Redeemer, Savior, Lord to be, Thy very Son from Heav’n. |
2 |
Thine only Son our flesh to take, Incarnate God to rest, born of a Virgin for our sake, Emmanuel manifest. |
3 |
Grant to Thy servants, born anew, regenerate in Thee, Thy Spirit’s soft refreshing dew, our daily strength to be. |
4 |
Thou by adoption and by grace hast giv’n the children's right; in us may Thy blest Spirit trace our heritage of light. |
5 |
Grant this through our Incarnate Lord, Who liveth aye with Thee; and with the Holy Ghost ador’d, one God in Trinity. |
6 |
Grant this thru’ our Incarnate Lord, Who liveth aye with Thee; and with the Holy Ghost adored, one God in Trinity. |

Almighty God, who hast given us thy only-begotten Son to take our nature upon him, and as at this time to be born of a pure Virgin; grant that we being regenerate, and made thy children by adoption and grace, may daily be renewed by thy Holy Spirit; through the same our Lord Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the same Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
