The third Sunday after Easter.
1 |
Almighty God Who showeth to them that be astray, to hearts where error groweth thy Truth’s enlivening ray, by the true light inviting the wanderer to return, and by Thy love inciting the true way to discern! |
2 |
Grant unto all admitted to Christ’s blest Church on earth their sins be all remitted, gifts given of heavenly birth. May they eschew for ever, in thought, in deed, in word, the sins that lost souls sever from Thee, Redeemer, Lord! |
3 |
Grant grace, O God of Heaven! and strength the race to run; their hearts with wisdom leaven; in them “Thy will” be done, that they, Thy name professing, may daily grow in love, from strength to strength progressing, until they meet above! |

Almighty God, who showest to them that be in error the light of thy truth, to the intent that they may return into the way of righteousness; grant unto all them that are admitted into the fellowship of Christ's religion, that they may eschew those things that are contrary to their profession, and follow all such things as are agreeable to the same; through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
