The fifth Sunday after Easter.

Author of good, eternal Lord! To seeking souls Thou dost accord fruition of Thy sacred word in faith, and hope, and love. Hear Thou our humble, deep desire, and with Thy grace our souls inspire to burn with sacred living fire of faith, and hope, and love. Let holy thoughts our spirits sway, guiding our nature to obey, that before Thee we walk alway in faith, and hope, and love. Our stubborn wills in mercy guide; in meek obedience quell our pride; so may we close to Thee abide in faith, and hope, and love. Through Jesus Christ, our Light of Light, our Savior, our Exemplar bright: in Him, aye hold we fast the right in faith, and hope, and love.

1 Author of good, eternal Lord!
To seeking souls Thou dost accord
fruition of Thy sacred word
in faith, and hope, and love.
2 Hear Thou our humble, deep desire,
and with Thy grace our souls inspire
to burn with sacred living fire
of faith, and hope, and love.
3 Let holy thoughts our spirits sway,
guiding our nature to obey,
that before Thee we walk alway
in faith, and hope, and love.
4 Our stubborn wills in mercy guide;
in meek obedience quell our pride;
so may we close to Thee abide
in faith, and hope, and love.
5 Through Jesus Christ, our Light of Light,
our Savior, our Exemplar bright:
in Him, aye hold we fast the right
in faith, and hope, and love.

The fifth Sunday after Easter.

O Lord, from whom all good things do come; grant to us thy humble servants, that by thy holy inspiration we may think those things that be good, and by thy merciful guiding may perform the same; through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
