The eleventh Sunday after Trinity.
1 |
O God, Thou hast declared to man the wonders of Thy glorious power, but chiefly in salvation’s plan dost Thou Thy boundless blessings shower. |
2 |
The wide creation shines with light, tells Heaven and Earth one tale of Thee, but Thou hast joined eternal might with mercy at redemption’s Tree. |
3 |
Regard, O God, Thy people’s prayer, Thy people bought with priceless strife; grant us Thy gifts of grace to share in manifold, abundant life. |
4 |
So strengthened and enlarged by Thee in every holy pure desire, we faithful to Thy will may be, continually towards Thee aspire. |
5 |
Wake! rising from the peaceful grave, Thy mercy, power, and love to sing, through Jesus Christ who stooped to save, to glory ransomed souls to bring. |

O God, who declarest thy Almighty power most chiefly in shewing mercy and pity; mercifully grant unto us such a measure of thy grace, that we, running the way of thy commandments, may obtain thy gracious promises, and be made partakers of thy heavenly treasure; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
