The eleventh Sunday after Trinity.

O God, Thou hast declared to man the wonders of Thy glorious power, but chiefly in salvation’s plan dost Thou Thy boundless blessings shower. The wide creation shines with light, tells Heaven and Earth one tale of Thee, but Thou hast joined eternal might with mercy at redemption’s Tree. Regard, O God, Thy people’s prayer, Thy people bought with priceless strife; grant us Thy gifts of grace to share in manifold, abundant life. So strengthened and enlarged by Thee in every holy pure desire, we faithful to Thy will may be, continually towards Thee aspire. Wake! rising from the peaceful grave, Thy mercy, power, and love to sing, through Jesus Christ who stooped to save, to glory ransomed souls to bring.

The eleventh Sunday after Trinity.

O God, who declarest thy Almighty power most chiefly in shewing mercy and pity; mercifully grant unto us such a measure of thy grace, that we, running the way of thy commandments, may obtain thy gracious promises, and be made partakers of thy heavenly treasure; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
