The nineteenth Sunday after Trinity.
1 |
O God, in Thee we live and move; our daily lives Thy mercies prove, without Thee, we are nought; through Thine indwelling grace alone accepted works of faith we own in those Thy love hath bought. |
2 |
Perfection infinite art Thou; before Thy awful name we bow; nought can we add to Thee; yet we, as bloodbought servants, pay such adoration as we may, and lowly bow the knee. |
3 |
O God, of Thy great mercy grant Thy Holy Spirit may implant within our souls Thy might, all sin within us may detect, each word and action may direct, and rule our thoughts aright. |
4 |
Thus may we ever feel and know Thou art around, above, below, within and ever nigh: this holy gift, O God, afford, to us, through Jesus Christ our Lord, the Lamb of God most high. |

O God, forasmuch as without thee we are not able to please thee; mercifully grant, that thy Holy Spirit may in all things direct and rule our hearts; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
